Default New addition, now comes the questions...

Hi Guys~~ I've finally add a Whites Tree Frog as a newest addition after 2 pacman frogs. Now I have a couple questions that I am still unsure of...

    1. How much should I feed her? Given that she is a 2 yr old full grown female.
    2. For what I understand she is a tree frog, but how come so far I don't see her climb? She is acting more like a pacman now... she burrows!! And I am wondering if that is normal? Does it have anything to do with my set up?
    3. Right now I have loose moss on the substrate, and she uses it as a blanket, given that moss may cause complication to the stomach, should I remove it?

    Thank you for the time~~

What are you temps and humidity at? Sounds like something is off as it looks like she's looking for warmth and moisture. Read the care article on the left and post a picture of your setup when you get a chance so we can help you out.

Thanks for the reply Cheri, when I go check on her this morning, she is hiding behind the fake leaves on the top of the tank, I bought the temp gauge but it was broken on the way home... swing by the reptile store for the temp and humidity gauge when I go shop for crickets~

Hey guys, here are the pictures of the set up that Marshmallow is currently in now. Don't mind the wood because I will probably get an exchange for other smaller climbing branches or jungle vines from Exo Terra. Please feel free to let me know what else can be added to make Marshi more comfy @ her tank.

P.S. don't worry about the moisture on the glass, I took this picture after I sprayed the tank

What a chubster! I love it!!!! Do you have any plants in there for her? I have Gray's so I don't know much about White's except that, to me, they look like they are wearing plastic fat suits!LOL
When my humidity was too low, my Gray's would burry themselves in the dirt too!
Best of luck and keep posting pics..I just love this kind of frog, too bad I have so many Gray's or I would get a few.

Thx Charlamanda... I don't have real plants in there.. and yes, they are fun to watch, esp during hunting because they will stalk their pray... the best part is when Marshmallow is trying to get up... she would lose grip and slowly slip from the glass... I wish she is smaller, that way she will be all over the tank^^
