I bought the 25w ones. Are they too strong? I have some 15w ones too. He does seem to sleep more with them on. I have a Gray Tree Frog.

I agree with Wesley on this one. These light bulbs are mostly for you, less for your frogs. I used the 25w. They are safe for your frog.

Thanks! I'll turn it on for a bit at night and when I go to bed turn it off so he can eat or what ever. I found this little guy last Saturday under a rug by my back porch door. He was almost frozen. He must have been there since the beginning of winter. Get's pretty cold here in Michigan.

Good for you! These frogs hibernate, and can tolerate cold weather. Did you get a chance to read the Gray Tree Frog care sheet yet?

I did! Lot's of great info. That's why I joined the group. My guy doesn't seem to eat all that much though. He's a male and chirps now and then. I want to do my best for the little guy. I'm very attached to him! Bought him the Exo-Terra terrarium. Feeding him crickets, but only saw him eat one?

I use these lights on two of my tanks and have had no problems, but I think it does whittle down to personal preference. I LOVE to look at my frogs, and if I ever felt like I was hindering them in any way from their normal routine I would definitely reconsider their lighting situation.

I say try it out and see how they do, if you don't like it, axe the moon lights.
