Default Exo Terra Night Glo Moonlight

The moon is really bright tonight and it made me think of a product I saw in the store the other day. I found the moonlight bulb and thought it would be nice for my vivarium. Looks like you can get it in 15 or 75 watt. I'm thinking 75 is a little strong. I wouldn't use it every night, but I thought it would be nice every few days. Has anyone used this bulb before, and if so, how do you like it?

    I don't use it anymore.
In my experience, the frogs were less active and slept more nights over with this lamp,
or any other "moon light lamp".
I have tried several, but i think they interfere with the frogs natural rhytmh.

It does more for you then it does for you're frog.

Maybe others have different experiences with this,
but i've decided not to use any anymore.

I found it darker than the red/infrared bulb, which could also be used for heating so, it was disappointing to me as well.

I bought the 25w ones. Are they too strong? I have some 15w ones too. He does seem to sleep more with them on. I have a Gray Tree Frog.

I agree with Wesley on this one. These light bulbs are mostly for you, less for your frogs. I used the 25w. They are safe for your frog.

Thanks! I'll turn it on for a bit at night and when I go to bed turn it off so he can eat or what ever. I found this little guy last Saturday under a rug by my back porch door. He was almost frozen. He must have been there since the beginning of winter. Get's pretty cold here in Michigan.
