And they are almost as common as mosquitoes in these parts. In fact, I think they have the leopard and bull frogs beat in this state when it comes to sheer numbers.
As a frog and toad novice, they are proving to be a valuable learning experience for me. Hopefully some of what I am learning from them can be applied to the more exotic species I plan on getting in the future.
Boring? Yeah.
Easy to care for? So far.
Suitable as bait? Well thats always an option...![]()
