Default Giving away my WTF, needs a good home in Northern VA

Hey hey guys, well the time has come when I need to find a good home for Sherbert, my Whites Tree Frog. Sherbert has zero health issues that I know of, and he eats very heartily. I am moving to the UK for a new military duty station, and sadly we cant take Sherbert with us. I am including his Hex vive and all the frog supplies I wont need any more. Im giving this all away for free, so Im really hoping someone local to me is interested!! Im at 22191, and am willing to drive anywhere around the DC Metro area. Thanks!!!!

I would be absoutely and totally willing to take Sherbert off your hands and care for him, however? I live in PA and it's a bit of a distance, I really have been wanting to get a WTF for some time now and would be very dedicated to taking care of him for you. I've done alot of research on their needs and though I have not taken care of one before I know a great deal about what they need through what I've learned on this site and other's as well. I understand it's a bit of a distance so if your unable too give him away too me it's very understandable!

If you were unable to ship the tank to me I would go out and buy him a tank and a nice one for him a 18x18x24 so he would have a nice home, so long as you could ship him. I was going to go out and buy myself a tank in the next few days anyways and a white dumpy tree frog as well but they are rather expensive and this is possiably a more cost effective situation.

I still dont know for a 100% certion I could take him, since we might be moving but I'll have that answer within the next week or so, hope everything works out for you!

my email is Mikextn@aol.com if you want to reach me.

well i need to have him gone by the end of this week, so if you want to figure something out, thats fine by me. Also, if whomever takes him DOESNT want the vivarium, thats ok, I just have to have him off by Wednesday, cuz thats the day the movers are coming and theyll need to pack up the vive to take with me. I would be willing to meet u around the DC area, how far are u from DC? or is driving out of the question? I really dont want to ship this guy, since Ive never done it before, and im sure its stressful.

Pretty far sadly, I live in Pennsylvanyia in Exton so probably a 3-4 hour drive? so it's somewhat out of the question. I cant drive at the moment so I coud not meet you. Hopefully I'll have an solid answer for you within a couple days. I also understand completly about how it would be stressful on the frog and it's also risky, but if you dont find a home for him I would be willing to take him in and promise I would look after him. I will try my hardest to get you an answer within this week. Also, how big is the Vivairum?

its about a 20 gallon. Since its a hex, Ive never known for sure how big it is. it suits him well and he has his favorite place to relax. I will keep you in mind If i dont find anyone closer, I should have posted weeks ago, but it slipped my mind.

Akuma if you could make the drive you could do it in a single day, yes it would be a long day but you'd have a tank and everything. And you'd get a healthy frog.

I really would drive if I could, but I am without my lisence at the moment, havent gotten it yet so that's really out of the question. And asking my parents to drive the entire day to get a tank and frog is equally out of the question so the only mean's of getting it would be through shipping unfortunely. If I could drive I would gladly come down and get it as it's a much cheaper alternative, and safer for the frog as well.
