Default Re: Gray tree frog calling

My male gray calls without hibernating. Not a full, all night calling, but he's usually consistent to give several minutes worth with the right cues. He is usually set off by the lights going out (and will call intermittently through the night), the cage being misted, or the temperature going up a couple of degrees (when the furnace kicks on). Season is irrelevant to him, though a rainy day outside does seem to help set him off. I've heard some are shy and won't call when being watched, mine happily has no such qualms, and will continue calling even with a curious cat or two on the cage.

<<<----edit-that's Waldo doing his thing as my avatar, he ain't shy!
