I just wanted to thank everyone for their suggestions and their well wishes for Elton the Green Treefrog. Though we are pretty sure he did eat some crickets and appeared to be perking up, he took a turn for the worse and did not make it. I still don't completely understand how he lasted for a year in the petstore, and how Rongo is thriving in the new setup and he didn't, but I would not change what I have learned from Elton in this short time for anything. Paul-thank you.

I'm soooo sorry. Little Elton captured our hearts as well. I'm sure Rongo will miss his little buddy. I hope all is well with Rongo.

Jo, your welcome although it wasn't what you may have hoped I would say. I'm sorry it had to go this way but it was the responsible decision. You have done very well with all your animals, these things happen.

Oh Jace..Im so sorry about Elton. Unfortunately this comes with having pets and I know its never easy. Don't let this deter you Jace. You are a great frog keeper.
