I recently bought 2 baby european tree frogs and was told that they were great for a first frog to have. I got told they didnt need any lighting or heating, but they must be kept at 70-75F, which they are. I got everything for their cage like a pond and plants etc and food. Then i went somewhere else to buy crickets and got told i needed calcium supplements to put on the crickets and a water supplement.
So was really just wondering is there anything else im missing because obviously I want to have happy little tree frogs.
Any advice would be great as im a new frog owner, thanks
Welcome to the forum Vixx. Our Gray Tree frog care article is perfectly applicable to European Tree frogs (Hyla arborea) with the exception of the temperature - European Tree frogs should be kept somewhat cooler - keep it in the early to mid 20s Celsius (at or below 80 F).
