The White's tree frog seems to be the best as far as being someones first tree frog. They are Hardy and pretty active. They are one of the larger tree frogs so make sure you have the appropriate size enclosure for them. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome. It's good to have you. I would highly recommend some poison dart frogs and I'm not at all biased.
