Okay, this morning, I managed to get 2 relatively clear underside pics of the Green Treefrog previously known as Elton. Can anyone tell from these pics whether it is a boy or a girl? The first picture is of the new Elton and now confirmed boy, for comparison. Thanks!

I think your frogs are being modest!! In each picture they have their privates...private! The new Elton looks like he's wearing a moss figleaf!LOL
I don't know enough or have the experience to help you, but I just love their cute little underbellies and I do the gitchy, gitchy, goo to them when mine are on the glass and I can see their bellies.
It's so wrong and I look so rediculous, but I can't help myself!!LOL

Lol! Thanks for making me laugh...and I secretly do that too. Ssshhh, don't tell anyone!

However, I am beginning to think that I might have two males. Regardless, the one I was originally calling Elton (and might still keep that name if it is a boy) has been acting abnormal for the last couple of days and the colour has returned to a dark brown and he looks skinny in comparison to his tankmate. I have placed him in quarantine for closer observation. Thanks for making me smile, though!
