Hi there,
I am only new to frogs, as you may have already seen, but my green tree frogs have generally been healthy, except for getting them to stay green.
Last night one fella was brown, but this morning, I found him like so;

The marks do not appear to be raised on the skin, and my other fella is fine. Green and happy
I think it may possibly be a burn off the heater, as he was under there yesterday afternoon, but they have been there before. And a burn doesn't explain the mark on his leg.
If anyone can help me you would be much appreciated
Alisha.

Hi Alisha, I would like to see the heater and other elements of the enclosure. Could you upload to an album in your profile?
I merged and moved your posts to a more appropriate location. PM me if you need help with any of this.
Hello again!
Okay, so attached is another photo of the frog in question...the only difference besides his lighter shade of brown, is that the green around the black marks is a slightly different colour. He is still eating and behaving as he usually does.
Also is the heater in the bottom corner, on the very base of it where the rocks are disturbed is where he sat underneath it.
Do you have any ideas floating that you think may fit the puzzle?
I will add some more photos of the rest of the enclosure to my album once I post this
Thank you for your help
