Water filter for double terrarium

Hello,

I am going to build a double terrarium using a false bottom in both. Was thinking of waterfall and pond in both. Maybe 18x18x24 for each. Would an overflow tube in both tanks running to a 10 gallon aquarium be a bad idea? I will have different species and wasn't sure if they could share same water. Thinking I could cut costs with one filter. Thanks

I'm not entirely sure I understand the situation you want to create but I'll take a shot.

If you use seperate water sources for each enclosure and only share the overflow reservoir it should be fine.

If you want to use the overflow and pump the reclaimed water back into both enclosures then I would recommend against it.

The short list of why goes like this: Parasites, disease, toxins, etc.

I would keep them completely seperate.
