Those are really cool videos. What's giving that red light?

Lol thanks guys. Before we got our wtf...I always thought they were boring. I guess because they're always asleep in the stores. These two are pretty rowdy, especially when eating. Lucy ended up being a male, since we have heard "her" call at the vacuum. The red lighting is a 50 or 60 watt heat light.

What brand do you use? I've tried a red light for night viewing but my little guy seems to be botherd by it. his pupils get small and he goes back to sleep.

Actually, we have the same problem with one of ours. Doesn't seem to come out when the light is on. I think it came out last night only because I threw the crickets in there. I'm not sure what brand, but I think were going to try either one of those night time blue or black bulbs.

For such slow lazy creatures(my gray's are anyway), when it comes to eating it's incredible how quickly they can move!!!
Love the video, I am still bewildered at the speed they catch those crickets, it never gets old!!!

Guess they move when they have to. I read to give whites food they have to chase since they get obese so easily.

I've got to post a video of our little Quibble eating! Even as he has one cricket in his mouth, he'll try to stuff another one in! I feel like my grandma thinking "Chew first! Chew first Quibble!!!"
