    Default Hi all

Well, I have received a fair amount of help from members on here, but never really introduced myself:

I'm Josh, 21, living in south UK, and I currently have 2 "Patricia" morph tincs.

I spend a lot of time on my computer, doing work and gaming, and for that reason I have my tank next to the screen, that way I can always keep an eye on the froggies

Thanks to members here, their tank has been set up for a week and a bit, and they have been in it for a little under a week. They seem happy, and are eating fruit flies and small crickets.

One of the frogs is definitely male, and he is very active, doing acrobatics from the weeping fig on one side of the tank to the other. He's also much braver than the other, and is happy to have photos taken (see attached, both of him). The other frog I think is female, but I've been unable to get a decent picture.

Well that's about it, hopefully I'll get to know a few more of you on here!

Great to "meet" you and welcome to the Forum. You definitely have a very handsome male there, and I am sure the other one is as beautiful. I am glad to hear that you are getting good advice that you can use and I hope to hear more of your experiences with your two frogs. Thanks for posting pictures, because, if you haven't noticed, we kind of go nuts for pictures and the more we see, the calmer we are! Again, welcome!

    Thanks for the welcome

After telling you about the shy frog, I managed to get some reasonable pictures of the other!

I can't be sure of the gender, but it definitely has a different body shape to the other. I wish I could get a good picture of them side by side, I'm sure someone would be able to tell me either way! (if anyone could take a shot at the gender of the frog attached to this post I would welcome it)

I forgot to mention, I still haven't named them, I was going to wait until i was sure on gender, but now I'm starting to rethink.

I would welcome any suggestions for names!

Hello, and it's good to have you here. I'm afraid you might have two males there, which is better than two females. As long as both are eating well, keeping their body weight up and there is no sign of aggression, they might co-exist, but keep an eye on the shy one. The fact that he appears to be more shy could be evidence that the other male is dominant and intimidating him. If he starts to lose weight, you should probably separate them and either way you may want to consider trying to swap one for a female.

They are both great looking frogs.

Hi Jimo, thanks for your advice.

The 2nd frog is smaller in length than the 1st, but is definitely fatter. I'm not too worried at the moment, but I do make sure that it gets at least some of the food
