i just use a pad at the moment, some people have suggested one of those blue lights because it wont dry out the substrate as quickly as the others.

I'm fairly sold on a 'mini-pad' idea at the moment, but have read on the forum that it can be hazardous if the frog borrows down to it and stays put? I like the idea better than lights due to various fixtures and whatnot. I was considering bending the pad in half so a portion is under the tank and on the side.

Additionally the only pad I've seen recomended for plastic tanks is the 'mini' (I forget the specific manufacturer). I have two frogs and have also considered hanging one light over both.
