    It is hard to leave, I usually get dragged out by my girlfriend. The frog giving me the Hawaiian good luck sign is a Hypsiboas calcaratus. I am trying to track down more to start a breeding project. Here are a few more shots that show his flash colors:

    That is a great looking frog. I take it they are not common in the pet trade? I don't think I've seen them before.

    In your "free time" when you get a chance start a photo album on the site so other members can view your pictures. You've got some great shots.

    He is absolutely gorgeous. And I love the little boost of colour. I have never seen one of these before either, but I would love to learn more about them. How did you come across this little one?

    I just happened to see him on kingsnake, posted by a shop in WA. They are inexpensive frogs but just don't show up very often. Care is easy, I treat him just like a red eye.

    Tony, I don't know if I missed the post or not but why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself. What your background is....how long have been into frogs...what are your favorite species.....etc

    They come in every once in a while from Suriname, a buddy of mine who is friends with Ben Siegel has him trying to track down some more for me.

    I have seen them once in a while. The one I want ot get my hands on is Hypsiboas puctatus.

    That is a cool frog, I would like to take on a group next year if I can find room for them.
