When I was over Shawn Harrington's house for the NEFG BBQ, I wanted to see his Ranitomeya benedicta, but they wouldn't come out of hiding at all. I was really dissapointed, as I have only seen them in pictures.

My daughter took Waldo our Red Eye to her second grade class for a school presentation and when she started her presentation she peeled sleepy Waldo off the glass and placed him on a wooden Perch. He sat there perfectly at attention and looked around at the kids in the room. He sat there for 10 minutes while she talked about tree frogs and proper care of them. It was amazing considering he's probably only been out of his cage five or six times his whole life. He was on his best behavior.
Yes we all appear to have the same experiences with our animals , a friend suggested that I might not like the set up but the frogs do therefore leave them in for awhile to see how they get on , remember you are keeping frogs not plants[ his words not mine] he has seen some master pieces with magnificent foliage, foggers, real state of art.He has been succesfull with a basic set up, a few plastic plants and a hand held sprayer and half a coconut over a shallow water dish. So I will keep you all posted![]()
