Chester is too large and I'm out of ideas on how to keep him healthy. I follow the "feed once per week, separate container, 15 minutes" advice, he'll eat 7 to 8 large crickets and be done. Other than that, he's just very lazy! Was surprised to see that high activity level of my new white's this past week, they are like night and day. Anyone have any experience with this problem?
As long as he's eating and there are no other "red flags", I wouldn't worry too much about it.
I have lots of Gray Tree froglets. I am still feeding them every other day, since they are still froglets between 1-1 1/2", and the larger ones can eat 3-4 small to medium size crickets each and the smaller ones will eat between 1-3. The larger ones are getting very lazy and are very cooperative when I handle them, but the smaller and younger ones are much more active and are difficult to handle.
I don't have a lot of experience, I've only had them for a month or so, but with so many they all seem to act consistantly in this respect.
What kind of frog do you have? Do you use vitamins?
You can feed him some other feeds, like waxworms, roaches, etc. Thereare many options you can use that are discussed in the articles.
Best of luck!
