I recently bought two adult red eye tree frogs from a reptile expo. one is doing fine, the other has not been active at night..just staying in one spot. i decided to bring him to the bottom of the tank tonight to see if he would eat because I was concerned. i discovered an odd circle/square like area on his leg that was brown...i was wondering if it could be a cut or bruise. i dont remember seeing this when I orginally got the tree frog. i was wondering if the two frogs could have fought? and if it being brown means that it is an infection? i did take a picture of him. i would really appreciate any knowledge of red eye tree frogs cuts or if anyone has any idea what this is and how to cure it.

That's an ulcer. Your best course of action is to take it to a vet and have it diagnosed and treated by the vet. It sounds like he's not eating, which means simply treating the ulcer is unlikely to solve the underlying problem. Act quickly.

I will second that. Get him to a vet.
