Thanks again!

He's not normally so active.....I was quite lucky to get three or four minutes of him swimming about in view, all in one 'take'.....(although it loses some smoothness somehow when the video is uploaded, which is unfortunate)

The (24"x12x12) "Hilton" was originally intended for Xenopus laevis...... but as the opportunity of housing a newt came up before that of a clawed frog, I couldn't resist
I've added a three small Amazon Frog-bit plants (Limnobium laevigatum,I believe) to the tank this evening (since the video). I'm currently reading 'Ecology of the planted aquarium' by Diana Walstad which has got me thinking about future set-ups.

Ideally, I'd like to introduce another P waltl to the tank, as there'd be room, and Julian might like the the company.
However, I'm half expecting some eggs in the springtime, which will be from Julian's parents..........so who knows what the future holds!

Anyway, the first video was an introduction, the second one was he/she "doing it's thing", and the third will be more of a 'newt-eats-worm' scenario

Thanks again
