Lightbulb Hello, new to Frog Forum

    Hello fellow Frog Forum members,

Being new to this forum, I will introduce myself. I live with 5 African Clawed Frogs, 3 Albino, and two normal pigmented. They are at this time in a 55 gallon tank, about half full. (I work at the local high school and brought them in for the science students to see and learn about during the school year). I have had them for several years but have never had any eggs laid. Don't know why. I would like to get some more but with different colors or patterns if possible. One of my albinos is very lightly reticulated. I am thinking about getting some Xenopus borealis to add to my frogs, as I have heard that they are quite beautiful. I hope to learn more about my frogs on this forum. Thanks, Joene Latiolais

Welcome to the Forum, Joene. I would love to see more live frogs in the classroom-I think people of all ages would find them fascinating and be able to learn many things from them. Can't wait to see some pictures of your frogs!

Welcome. It's great to have science teachers on the forum.

Thanks to everyone for the nice welcome!! Glad to be here!

I work at the high school, but I am a paraeducator, not the teacher, and the teacher approves of my frogs visiting for the school year. The previous teacher had several different kinds of frogs, toads, a tortoise, fish, a Savannah monitor and many other animals. She was the one that introduced me to ACF's.
