Return Frog Keeper

Greetings,

I have been cruising this forum for a month now and I thought I would take a minute to introduce my self.

My name is Malachi and I love frogs . I am currently working in IT in Des Moines, Iowa.

I grew up in Minnesota near lakes and swamps. I quickly became very interest in Amphibians(specifically frogs) after keeping a small wood frog at about age 6. I spent all my summer catching frogs and tadpoles, always releasing them before fall.

When I got a little older I began to keep Amphibians. At one point my room sounded like a jungle with all the different critters making noises.

I lost some interest during late highschool and college in keeping pets as I had tons of work/other things on my mind. Though I had frog posters and decorations all over.

In august I bought a african bullfrog (P. Edulis) and that rekindled a passion.

I now have:

1 Pyxicephalus edulis
1 Ceratophrys cranwelli
1 Bufo americanus
3 Pyxicephalus adspersus (babies)

Frog keeping is my Zen!
