not on here for a day and everyone goes crazy!! haha you guys are awesome.
ok here is how it went...the doorbell rang and i signed for the package came in my room opened it up and di vinci..was looking at me and moving around trying to get out of the plastic cup. haha.
he was so active, he was frightened a little bit..and tried to bury himself under the wet paper towel. well i let him out after i let him sit in the plastic cup inside the tank for a while so he could get used to the temperature and the humidity..i opened the cup and he bounced out..started jumping all around exploring..he loved it!!!
im happy to say that di vinci and tetris are getting alot great..altho the first night..we thought we would feed them together and that was so funny trying to get them both in the same little plastic container with out one hopping out..it was the funniest thing!!!! then after we managed to get them both in..we thought..ohh it would be better to just feed one at a time..so i oped up the plastic container and said..so the first one to hop out gets fed second...and what do you know..they both hopped out at once so we had to catch one for a second time..ahhh! hahahahaha.
they both ate 2-3 small crix as soon as they saw the crix they got excited and pounced on them di vinci i believe caught two at the same time..healthy appitites they have!
they are great ill upload more pics later but their are pics up in my photos.![]()
I am very happy for you. Its a wonderful start to an exciting addiction. Although, I'm sure everyone is going to warn you about the importance of keeping them separate until you know for sure they are both healthy.
right now they are together in the same tank they are "guaranteed" to be healthy but we all know how that works. as of right now they are very active and eating very well, they are babies tho so we are keeping very close eyes on them. we don't have another tank that we could separate them into that would be even close to being the right temperature or humidity..so i cant separate them but we do watch them very closely and if anything remotely out of the ordinary happens you know this is the first place id go.
Well I'm very happy for you. I hope they continue to do well. I got a red eye baby at the show last weekend and he's 3/4 inch. So small it's scarey. I then got another albino redeye on Wednesday and he's about the same size. Yikes! I have them in one gallon containers and placed those containers inside my larger red eye enclosure. It looks a little weird but that is the only way I could keep the temps and humidity where I want them like you were saying. I'm glad yours turned out to be just what you wanted and I hope you continue to grow your frog family.![]()
its funny, since i got them only a little while ago they look plump and very healthy!
they eat great, so im very happy.
