Beautiful Frog! Gorgeous Pictures, Eel Noob!![]()
Gray's are just too cute!! I am real new at this, but mine seem to have a go to color. Is this true? Do they have a normal color that they just are, then depending on enviroment, change, then back to their "default" color when they move? 1 more ??? One of the larger froglets was hanging on the back of the tank that's covered with a typical pet store frog/reptile landscape pic. After being there for a bit he/she actually changed 2 colors green and brown matching the background colors perfectly, Is this how they operate or do they normally change just one color?? Just has me curious.
Well, the gray treefrog's taxonomic name is Hyla versicolor. The second part of the name, or the species, refers to the frogs ability to change color.
Great pictures by the way.
WOW! Thanks for the share!!! What kind of camera/lens are you using to get that kind of close-up?! Those are absolutely beautiful!![]()
