I've been bit by my 5 year old female. She's on the larger side but it wasn't anything like this pyxie bite. No blood but I could definitely feel her power

Re: Why you should use tongs:
Wow that frog did a number to your fingers
! My frog bites have never been like yours, but I've been bitten by a snake and the bite bled a little more than yours (the snake was almost 12 inches long)

Horned frog bites do not hurt, Ive been bit many times from my surinams/auritas it was almost everytime i force fed them has they are wc and wont eat and my female ornates caught me a few times when changing the water its just like your finger and thumb holding your finger with a lil pressure. Its not enough to peirce the skin/draw blood i reckon has its never happened with me or people i know thats been bit.
I would not like to get bit off a african bullfrog put it that way there power of the jaws is far more than an horned frog.

Re: Why you should use tongs:
Any common pet amphibians or reptiles that can actually take off fingers? Some of the big pet lizards look like could cause damage.
Snake bites, even from non venemous snakes look very painful

Crocodile monitors have one of the worst bites

Yes they do. They have teeth like serrated knifes, and they have raptors as nails. A baby could do alot of damage, that you will need stitches

Dude I wouldn't risk that all and if I did, I would wear thick chain steel gloves for sharks haha.
