Can't download video

i did what john said to in his announcment but it keeps on saying it's an invalid file what do i do

I don't remember telling anyone how to download a video. I have told people how to link youtube videos on the site, but that's completely different to downloading a video.

In order to help you I need to know exactly what you're trying to do. "can't download video" doesn't tell me much.
