Hey all, sorry if this has been asked before!
I have a couple of spare 30x30x45 exo terras and have been thinking of getting some dart frogs. I have read on some caresheets recommendations on having bigger enclosures than this, however I have come across a few posts on here where people mention they use the smallest exos. I just want to know what people really think, is the size I have too small? what species would it be good for?
Thanks in advance!
Touchy subject?
Only suitable for thumbnails like vents

I use that size of tank for a pair of Ranitomeya, which are thumbnail dart frogs, like Josh says.

Ok, thank you for the replies. I assume that it would be ok for reed frogs also.
I could see it being alright for them.

I am new to all this but that size tank to me sound large?? What am I missing??
It's centimetres
I feel so much better...dumber, but better. Having avoided that transition period where the metric system was trying to be forced on us...how do the measurements translate into inches...or are you going to make me look it up and figure it out for myself..oops--front door bell is ringing...
30cm = 12inches (it is about 2.5cm to an inch).
so the dimensions of the exo terra is 12x12x18 inches
thanks...you fell for that "at the door" thing, didn't you... Then all the other information makes perfect sense. Anyone out there used the conversion kits from Jungle Box for the converting a 10 or 20 gallon tank to an upright position with an ExoTerra type front???
