    Default Help!!!!

    Hi,

I just got my green tree frog out of her cage to clean her, and when I looked at her, she was bleeding on my hand. I looked at her hand, and her front right one is very puffy and red. She was fine last night, it wasn't like that at all. I have no idea what I can do to help her, or even what's wrong for that matter. Can someone please help me?

That's the thing, I would take her to the vet, but I was talking to my mom about it and said that I don't have the money to. Looking at my bank statement, she is right College is expensive. Is there anything else I can do?

If there is an open wound, you might try a little Polysporin.

It appears to have been stuck in a cage wire or something, look closely at the arm and make sure there is no hair, string, wire or anything alse wrapped around it cutting off circulation. Try too keep the water and the wound clean and apply some Polysporin as JimO suggests. Make a small medical quarantine enclosure out of a small Sterilite container or something similar that has nothing but paper towels as substrate and a water and food dish so keeping it clean will be easier. If it gets worse post some more pics so that maybe we can identify the problem. I hope the little guy gets better soon.
