Blaberus species don't climb glass or smooth plastic so they are less of a pain than lobsters, but truly almost any feeder roach is less of a pain than lobsters. I won't deal with those personally, there are better choices out there. Blaberus species make decent feeders though most of them don't seem to breed quite as well for me or handle quite as high a population density as dubias will. For this reason I tend to prefer dubia's except when I need a really huge roach, then b. fusca fits the bill.
