I felt like sharing some pics with the forum this morning. Hope you all like them.
Great pics. Why don't you also post them in your photo album.
Very nice. He looks hungry...

Nice lookin' frog!
Thanks for the nice comments. The first guy is one of my males, I call him Bluto. He is over a year old now and approx 6 2/3 inches. Here are some more pics.
The second pic is another male. I still haven't named him but he is easy to recognize because he is by far the most aggressive frog I have kept. He is also over a year now and close to six inches. Here are more pics.
Finally here are pics of two different frogs that I believe are females. Would love to hear from the forum if others with more experience think otherwise. They are both just over a year old and no larger than four inches.
Beastly Bullfrogs! The 2nd male looks like he needs to be shipped over to me![]()
those two are females you should try to breed them! (also where did you get those!)
African Bullfrogs, Clawed Frogs, Salamanders, Newts, Bearded Dragons,
Thanks for the comments! I do hope to breed them eventually. I have six in all, three presumed males and three presumed females. I am not comfortable that the females have enough bodyweight to brumate this year. I will probably be conservative and wait another year. Three of these were from Big Apple Herps, two from Off The Ark Reptiles, and one from a local source. Thanks again! John
what and how much are you feeding them
African Bullfrogs, Clawed Frogs, Salamanders, Newts, Bearded Dragons,
Feeding just about anything I can get hold ofPrimarily XL grasshoppers, hoppers and large caterpillars. They are fed 2-3 times a week with the amounts depending on their activity.
Where exactly did you get the frog? I would love to own one but none of the pet store
around here have them (African bull frog) nor will they make an order for me.
These frogs are from Big Apple Herp and Off the Ark Reptiles. I cannot say if they have any available at this time though. Best of luck!
The third female decided to wake up .
Ooh, she is a beauty! Looks like my Obi, but a slightly lighter colouring. When you do plan to breed, you are going to have some very fine looking bullfrogs!!
All your frogs are beautiful and look very healthy. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks for the information
you know what im going to use that name on a future mouth with legs
African Bullfrogs, Clawed Frogs, Salamanders, Newts, Bearded Dragons,
