Talking My Anaxyrus cognatus Great Plains Toad

I was bored so I thought I would post some pics of my female Great Plains Toad. I find these guys all around my house in the summer. I found this one hopping around my backyard. So far she has turned into a great pet. I've had her more than a year now. I would like to find her a male, but I just keep finding females. Shes always hungry, I feed her crickets, mealworms, adult male dubias, and sometimes ASF rat pinks. Shes a pig. If she sees me grab the cricket bin she gets excited and jumps at the glass. lol She is what made me get into amphibians.

    My fav pic of her.

Shes bigger now kinda of a old pic.

Since getting her I have gotten a pac man frog. In the future I hope to get an American Toad, Sonoran Toad, a cane toad, and some more AZ native toads. We have some really cool amphibians here in AZ. Thanks for looking.

    Thank you??

Anyhow, I love this species of toad - it's probably my favorite US toad, along with the closely related Texas Toad. Good luck with her .
