Best tank?

I've had 3 white tree frogs for 4+ years now in my 30 gallon 2' tall hexagonal tank. I recently acquired a new WTF in a newer 40 gallon zoo med terrarium tank. 18" tall about 3 foot long. When they get together which is the tank to use?
