Default Older Pac-Man has film over eyes, can’t see to eat

Cuppy has developed film over both eyes. She cried when I tried to tong feed her today, wouldn’t grab the cricket. She finally took a defrosted pinky. Made a vet appt but it is not for five days. What can I do to help her in the meantime?

Sounds like cataracts. I'm sure your vet can tell you. I'm guessing that you will have to tease-feed it to get it to eat.

Treated Cuppy for many weeks with antibiotic eye creams. Plus force fed her. She gave me a scare because she wouldn’t open her eyes, seemed lethargic. She tried to brumate! Her back got dark and hard. I replaced her paper substrate (vet recommended) with cocoearth, soaked and soaked her. She immediately opened her eyes and grabbed a cricket, after wiggling her butt and burrowing a little into the substrate. Is all better now!
