Fantastic photos!
Fantastic photos!
Thank you both.
I've been keeping this couple for a year and a half now, and they are the most interesting frog I've ever kept
Btw, anyone knows a good trick to sex them?
All I know is that I bought them as a couple, and one grew up much larger (the female) and the male sings a lot... So I'm tempted to believe I do have a couple...
I dont keep these frogs (I wish I could)..but going by my frogs that sounds like a male and a female to me. Have you checked your male for nuptial pads? (Black Thumbs)
Actually I never did, bue I'll be watching this yearI dont keep these frogs (I wish I could)..but going by my frogs that sounds like a male and a female to me. Have you checked your male for nuptial pads? (Black Thumbs)
I think they are around 2,5 years so the male should start adopting breeding behaviour. But my main doubt is about the female...
They are hard to sex. I think you may have to wait till you notice some breeding behavior, or the black pads. Hopefully you'll find out soon!
Hmmm...Yes. Usually when my females are of breeding age they definitely look like they are full of eggs. From what I see with your photo she not looking that full. Im not sure so best someone who breeds these help you. Sorry I cant help.
Thank you both
It wasIt was great help, I'll see what I can find out in a few months, when the breeding season starts.
