Thread: Can European green tree frog eat shrimp?

Default Can European green tree frog eat shrimp?

I have a paludarium that I keep my GTF in. It has a large water area that currently houses endler's livebearers and MTS that get along peacefully with the frog. I was hoping to get some cherry shrimp to breed in there, but I realise that the shrimp are a similar shape to the crickets that i feed my frog. Will the frog eat them? I don't mind if one or two shrimp go missing if the frog eats them (shrimp will often climb out of the water). And, most importantly, can frogs eat them?/are they dangerous for the frog to eat? The shrimp have little pincers and hard shells.
