Hello,
I posted to this forum previously and had gotten no help or advise. I’m hoping to reach out again for help.
I have two whites tree frogs now that are having issues. My
older male isn’t eating and hasn’t pooped, so I believe impaction. The other younger male just started yesterday with bouts of diarrhea. It’s pretty foul smelling, and looks like undigested superworm (his last meal).
The male that isn’t eating is still active, calling like crazy. I’ve been giving him daily soaks in 2 parts dechlorinated water and 1 part unflavored pedialyte to see if I can get him to go. The other male seems pretty normal as well, but he just started with this.
These frogs all lived together in one tank with another female, and are all in their own tanks while they’re sick.
I’ve had them treated for parasites before in October. I’m not sure if they could pick them up again? The Female in the tank is acting normal.
Any help, suggestions is greatly appreciated!
I am getting super worried about my adult male as it’s been going on since last month. He’s eaten here and there but only after I annoy him a lot to get him to.
I’ve included photos of the other frog’s poop for reference.
