Hey ya'll! I just got 4 new froglets yesterday.
I received one with either a swollen eye or deformity. To me looks almost like there is no eye lid.
I need opinions. Should I be worried?
I do have a local vet if it continues to be an issue, but little dude is active and has taken food just fine.
Let me know what ya'll think please.
Looks more like a deformity...imo. Doesn't appear to be any discoloration, cloudiness or signs of infection... but if it gets worse... definitely take him to a vet! It's a good sign that he's active and able to catch prey! If in the event that the eye needs to be removed, then he's already adjusting to using his one good eye! Keep us posted!

I have learned... still learning... ALWAYS LEARNING!
Every moment is a teachable moment!
Mistakes are not always a terrible thing, especially when you learn from them!
He has also already doubled in size! Froglettes are fun to have!![]()
