Oh man, thank you for this. My girl's almost two years old and just recently when I need to handle her, she's started making those little chirps as well. I was starting to wonder if I'd sexed her wrong and she was a boy after all.![]()

My female North American toad when she gets upset she makes a popping sound with her nostrils and my male well he just chirps lots when you pick him up.
