Toad popping leg joint and mouth slightly open

I’ve noticed my 6 month old toad Michel has had his mouth slightly open for a few days now. I’m suspecting MBD or some other similar disease and have been treating him with calcium. No results yet but as I said, this is only a few days. Also this morning he was walking around on the table and I noticed him popping his leg joint??? He was bringing his leg and foot up towards his belly and then forward, kinda like the motion they use for shedding. Anybody know what’s going on with Michel?

I haven’t seen him do the weird leg thing again, however his mouth if still the same if not more open. I have been giving him calcium with every meal(temporary. It’s usually only once a week or so) but I was very sick the past few days so I was not going near him for his safety.
