Default Road Trip with My Frog.

As some of you know, on December 20th, I will be in the car with my Pacman frog for about 3-4 hours. I am travelling the next day, and I first need to drop off my cat to a boarding place, which will take about 1-2 hours, and then I have to go back home to another boarding school for reptiles which will take another 1-2 hours.
Do any of you have any suggestions for my frog? I will keep him in a small container with air-holes, with some moist soil, and I will bring a heating pad as well as a mister. It's currently snowing and very cold in Canada.
Is there anything else I can do to make my frog feel more comfortable and safe?
(Also, is it safe to keep my frog near my cat? I will definitely supervise them.)
    Thank you~

You could simply put the frogs container in a cooler, with a bottle of warm water inside the cooler to keep if from getting too cold.
