Anyone using ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia I in their frog vivariums? I have some, 3 bags actually, lying around and was wondering if anyone was using it. I can't see why it wouldn't work. It's porous, small gravel sized for draining while still retaining moisture, and has nutrients suitable for plants. It's all natural, so if one of our beloved pets happened to swallow it it should pass without issue. Of course, I plan to cover it with moss to keep my frog from ingesting it.
I have used this soil in the past in planted aquariums. I know it will grow plants without harm to fish, even extremely sensitive ones. I was just wondering if anyone has used it in a planted frog tank
