It's good to receive a variety of approaches to any problem that has no absolutely singular resolution.
When you receive the benefits of several people's experience you can see that people have had success with solving your particular problems through different methods and you can decide for yourself which methods or combination of methods are most practical for you to try.
Some problems do have only one remedy and on this forum you can also find those.
Keep coming back whenever you need the community of experienced Frog/Toad caretakers to make suggestions and I'm sure you'll find good info all around.

Hi just wanted to give an update on the frog. I think I may have inadvertently done something that brought him out of his winter slow-down. The weather has gotten colder here so with the forced air heat running constantly it has become a challenge keeping the humidity levels up in his tank (especially during the day with the heat and uvb bulbs on). I tried to combat this by making a drip system out of a water bottle with pin holes that let out more water than I had intended. Anyways, about ten seconds into the virtual rain storm created by the bottle he began vocalizing and did so for a couple minutes off and on. The following morning he was out on top of his hide with his eyes open and had made a mess of his water dish. He then took three crickets from a set of tongs. Prior to this he hadn’t shown any interest in food for about a month. He has eaten every day now for the past few days and has been out regularly at night and in the morning. Hopefully this continues. Thanks again for all of the help!
