Default Water type for Whites tree frogs

I've had whites tree frogs for a couple years now but I feel like some people are saying to use distilled water and others say not to use distilled under any circumstances. I'm using spring water but I've heard distilled is better for the humidifier I'm using so if it's safe. Thanks!

If you are using a misting system such as a mist king, distilled or RO is the way to go. The reason being that it will prolong the lifespan of the equipment and you won’t get hard water spots on the glass. HOWEVER, distilled and RO water contain no minerals. Therefore I’d advise you to use bottled water for soaking and distilled or RO only for misting. If you are not using a misting system then just stick with the bottled water. Opinions will vary on the subject though.

What are your thoughts on using purified drinking water for the misting system and RO for the soaking water?
