Hello! My pacman frog is constantly jumping on his back, and refuses to eat off of tongs. I've read that the tongs thing is normal, as he's just scared, but I can't find any solutions to him jumping on his back ): any suggestions?
1. Size of enclosure: 10 gallon long
2. # of inhabitants - specifically other frogs and size differences: Only my Pacman frog
3. Humidity: anywhere from 60-90%
4. Temperature: anywhere from 78-82
5. Water - type - for both misting and soaking dish: both are reptisafe treated tap water
6. Materials used for substrate: just coco fiber, specifically eco earth
7. Enclosure set up i.e. plants (live or artificial), wood, bark and other materials.: No live plants, just a water dish, food bowl, clay pot hide, and wood hide
- How were things prepared prior to being put into the viv.: All wer rinsed/taken from old vivariums
8. Main food source: crickets, won't eat worms. About 20-30 a week
9. Vitamins and calcium? (how often): calcium on 15 crickets each week
10. Lighting: just an led used for day night cycle
11. What is being used to maintain the temperature of the enclosure: reptile thermostat
12. When is the last time he/she ate: I've never seen him eat, just give him food and it vanishes over time
13. Have you found poop lately: Two days ago
14. A pic would be helpful including frog and enclosure (any including cell phone pic is fine): at the end of post
15. Describe frog's symptoms and/or recent physical changes; to include it's ventral/belly area.: He just keeps flipping over while I'm at work
16. How old is the frog: 6-9 months
17. How long have you owned him/her 5 months
18. Is the frog wild caught or captive bred: don't know, if assume captivity bred
19. Frog food- how often and if it is diverse, what other feeders are used as treats: he will eat superworms, but usually just crickets
20. How often the frog is handled: never, I'm worried he's stressed
21. Is the enclosure kept in a high or low traffic area: lowih? By my bed but I never am home
22. Describe enclosure maintenance (water changes, cleaning, etc): daily listings in morning and evening, bidaily water bowl changes, 15 dusted crickets on Friday, 15 dusted crickets on Sunday
Can someone instruct me how to post pictures on here? I have no clue
