I thought I'd give an update on Kumatora. First, I learned he's a male and he has a wonderful singing voice. He will perform for me every night as I try to go to sleep. I don't mind though. It's kind of funny

and second, he's doing very well. He's been a bit finicky with eating, but lately his appetite has been up. I'm hoping he'll put on a little weight now that we've worked out a feeding system (I basically throw crickets at him and he gobbles them up. No luck with other bugs yet). Kuma's also doubled in size! He seems to have no significant mobility problems, and his leg doesn't twist when he's crawling around on land. Little man has come a long way!

Really good to hear! Have you food dish trained him? My American toads will go to a dish I supply and eat things that would normally burrow in the soil. I put waxworms, butterworms, mealworms, and hornworms in the dish. You could try this and after he learns the foods there whenever he sees you he will go to the dish. I recommend butterworms and waxworms to be added as a small additional part of the diet with crickets to fatten him up. Say around 3-5 for a large frog like him. How many times a week for feeding?
