Default Pacman only wants to soak constantly

Mr Frog, a green ornate pacman iwho we have had for about six months, does not seem to be eating 2 wk crickets. In a 10 gallon aquarium with moust cocoearth, night heat lamp, day uvb lamp. Seems to be losing weight. Cage was cleaned with water and new cocoearth put in, with no changes. He just soaks and i change his mineral water twice daily. I havent dusted his crickets lately but the crickets have calcium rich total bites. Frog temp 77-78. He refuses defrosted pinkies and anything but crickets. Will not eat night crawlers. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have been hestating to force feed him or give him calcium orally. Any suggestions appreciated.

Your temps are too low, you should have about 80-85 degrees. Also you could try forcefeeding, even though is not pleasant for the frog it may help.

I don't know if the temperature is the problem, I have a pacman frog roughly six months old, temperature is 70-76 with humidity levels at 60-80 depending on when the humidifier has last run and he eats fine.

Raised the temperature to 81 to 82 but he kept soaking. Noticed tonight there are tiny tiny red mites in the bird which may be bothering him? How do i safely get rid of those? Thanks!

What do you mean by this?

Also, could you upload a picture of the enclosure?

Sorry...red mites are in the dirt. Will try to get photo and will clean the tank out completely tonight after work. In the meantime i put a half inch of new cocoearth on top and he didnt jump immediately back into the water yet.

Tonight i took Mr Frog and everything out, discarded the cocoearth, and scrubbed the tank, fake plants, and water dish with kosher salt. After rinsing everything several times, i put new moist cocoearth, the cleaned plastic plants, and cleaned water dish back. I did not put the plant back that had a wood base. When i put Mr Frog back he did not immediately jump into the water!
hope the photos show up. One shows Mr Frog in his tank and one shows the night time heat fixture and the daytime uv fixture ( on top of the mesh top).

Alright, cool, I don't know for sure, but maybe the temperature was/is too hot/cold and he feels most comfortable in the water. I've read mixed things about heating lamps, instead I've read sticking one or two heating pads to one side of the enclosure gives the frog a choice of temperature to choose from and may be best. If you're interested in trying that here's an amazon link to the heating pads I use. I also have this humidifier running on low every 15 minutes every hour.

Also I might be doing something wrong but I could only see one picture not two

Well, he is back in the water again. He didnt used to stay in the water so much until now. Have tried heating pads on the cage side (and use them for our amblypygids and scorpion) but thought the pacmans would prefer an overhead lamp so they could burrow down to a cooler place. Am not sure why the second photo didnt come through...will try again.

Sorry if I missed something, but you didn't list the tank's humidity? I could see the lamps rapidly decreasing the humidity, which makes your frog want to soak in his dish.

Humidity is about 60-70%. I mist the tank twice daily ( but dont directly mist Mr Frog because he dislikes that). Tonight he was still out of the water tonight! So i think he is glad the mites are gone.

Tonight Mr Frog is still out of the water dish and sitting in typical pacman position, partially submerged back end and head at substrate level. He looks much happier now.
