Hi all
This might sound crazy but I am curious: I was using a paper cup as a cheap makeshift hide for a small toad , however the cup due to being moist from the eco earth grew green mold overtime . I proceeded to remove the cup however I am wondering if the tank the supplies and the substrate are contaminated with mold spores that would harm the toad. If I just remove the substrate and wash the supplies and tank with scalding hot water will that be enough as a sanitation attempt?
Thanks
