Do we need to hibernate our toads?

Hi all,
I recently found two small American toads which I am now housing in a 20 gallon long tank. They are doing well, eating A LOT and actively going after their prey. I was wondering if, come winter do I need to hibernate them or can I leave them warm all year with no I’ll effects?
Do any of you hibernate your animals?
If you do, how do you go about it?

You can just keep them warm all winter. It's difficult to hibernate them. I am in the process of attempting this
