I have 2 male ACF in a 20 gallon long aquarium. They have lived in it for 5 years. My filter burned out last week and I have been without a replacement until today. Yesterday I did a 75% water change to help improve the quality. It seemed clean, but I wanted to be sure.
Today, one of my frogs is holding one of his arms up, almost like it is floating. His eyes also appear to be sunken. Is this an injury or illness? I have had this frog for 5 years, but he was given to me as an adult and I do not know his age or history.
My frogs have always been healthy and I would hate to start having issues now. What can I do to help?
I don't see any sign of disease or injury. Often times the frogs will lie motionless with their arms extended. Just keep an eye out for any changes, bu right now he looks quite healthy.
