I would stress trying this before attempting to force feed. For some, the only reason why they have to force feed their WC frog is because they started doing it in the first place out of impatience and in doing so created a self caused stress cycle. In other words the reason why its not eating is because its being force fed! a bit ironic huh? You will be surprised how well these guys respond to an active prey item at the right time. I would put prey item in at night, also something else to consider is possibly a mixed up sleep cycle, your nocturnal frog could be acting diurnal which is not good but should hopefully correct itself. I am not sure on this but just a speculation, since your frog is wild caught from surinam or wherever it prospectively came from it is possible that transitioning from its timezone to yours could have thrown its sleep cycle off. Again I'm not sure about frogs but I know my sleep cycle gets pretty mixed up when traveling through timezones! Also, be sure you get a SMALL mouse and watch tentatively while its in the frogs enclosure the mouse will not predate upon the frog but mice can and will defend themselves at which point you may need to step in and prevent the mouse from biting, personally, the few times I have fed mice I have never had this problem but that does not mean it cant happen.
